Mitchell has lived in Amador County for six years. The
Ledger Dispatch has received numerous awards and recognition during
these years including many California Newspaper Press Association
awards, top state honors for excellence in education coverage as well as
best web site for two years in a row. Mitchell was named the Peace
Officer Association’s Citizen of the Year in 2004. He is involved with
many organizations including Rotary, ACAC, Secret Witness to name just a
few. Mitchell and his wife Teresa have three children McKenzee, Bailey
and Jackson. |
